For some designs, the architects vision is a building that looks immediately like it has been around for many years. The feel of tradition, of staying power. Hand made brick are made in essentially the same way they have been for centuries, creating individually unique faces with folds, creases and irregular corners. Machine molded brick offer a smoother face and a lower price, but still have an old world effect. Molded brick are frequently the material of choice for churches and universities.
